Plato Income Maximiser IPO (PL8)

Plato Income Maximiser Limited has announced an initial public offer of shares and options (Offer) and ie seeking to raise up to $220,000,000. It will be a listed investment company (LIC) which will be traded on the ASX under the code PL8.

Plato Income Maximiser’s prospectus explains that this new investment company has been established to provide its shareholders the opportunity to benefit from an investment in an actively managed, well-diversified portfolio of Australian listed equities that aims to:

(i) generate annual income (including franking credits) in excess of the S&P/ASX 200 Franking Credit Adjusted Daily Total Return Index (Tax Exempt) (Benchmark); and

(ii) outperform (after fees) the Benchmark in total return terms including franking credits over each full investment cycle.

 

Plato Income Maximiser’s portfolio will be managed by Plato which is a specialist high income equity fund manager that was founded in 2006 by Don Hamson and supported by seven investment specialists.
